About My Story

The inspiration behind Star of the Sea emerged during a time when Anna felt adrift, like she was floating aimlessly on an open ocean. She imagined a guiding star lighting her way, leading her back to a sense of purpose. This vision is embodied in Star of the Sea—a soap that offers a grounding, calming experience, bringing a sense of clarity and direction.

Crafted with white sea salt and swirls of blue to reflect ocean waves, the soap’s design captures the beauty of the sea and the steady presence of a guiding star. Its soothing blend of spearmint, peppermint, rosemary, lavender, and orange essential oils creates a refreshing and balanced aroma, leaving you feeling restored and centered after each use.

A Bit About My Scent

Star of the Sea features a special scent blend crafted with spearmint, peppermint, rosemary, lavender, and orange essential oils, creating a unique and refreshing aroma. This combination offers a well-balanced fragrance that is both uplifting and grounding. The overall effect is a harmonious scent that may evoke feelings of calmness and clarity.

Ingredients: Saponified Coconut Oil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Sea Salt, Indigo Powder, Pink Rock Salt, Strawflower, Essential Oils of Spearmint, Peppermint, Rosemary, Lavender, and Orange

Weight: 150g +/-

Dimension: Length 5.8cm, Width 2.9cm, Height 8.5cm (Approx)

Care Instructions: Store it in a cool, dry & dark area till ready for use. Use within 6-9 months as it contains no preservatives. Use a soap dish or a net to hold it to increase longevity. Keep it dry between uses.

Direction: Wet the bar soap with a bit of water and rub your hands around it to create a lather. Apply the lather to your body the way you normally do, and rinse off with water when you're done!

Packaging

For the selection of bare packaging, one can expect to receive the soaps cushioned by any of the above upcycled materials. We strive to reuse whenever possible and it would be great if you could join us on this journey to minimize waste and carbon footprint.

Alternatively, if this is a gift for someone dear to you, we offer gift packaging inclusive of pouches, boxes tied with Christmas-themed strings, dried caspia flowers, shredded papers, reused bubble wraps, and reused parcel bags to protect the contents. 

For the purchase of more than one piece of soap, please leave a remark upon checkout if you would like them to be packed individually as we will pack all soaps together in a box by default.

Gentle Reminder

1. Do check the ingredients before using as some may be sensitive to a certain type of essential oils.
2. These are all handmade natural soap bars and no two are the same. Please understand that these bars are colored with natural colorants and they may/may not fade with time. You may receive darker/lighter colors than what you see in the photographs.
3. Some of the essential oil scents will fade but you will notice the scent returning once you start using the bars.
